How much does home cleaning cost?

Our rate is €35 per hour + 25,5 % VAT (€43.93/hour gross). After kotitalousvähennys, the effective cost for a private household is about €28.55/hour. The same rate applies to regular home cleaning, one-time cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning.

Do you offer kotitalousvähennys (household tax credit)?

Yes — all our cleaning work for private homes qualifies. In 2026 you can deduct 35 % of the labour cost, up to €1 600 per person per year, with a €150 annual threshold (omavastuu). Our invoice includes all details the Finnish Tax Administration (vero.fi) requires.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Helsinki capital region — Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa. Our base is in Helsinki (Huopalahdentie 31 A 74, 00350 Helsinki).

What kinds of cleaning do you do?

Home cleaning, one-time cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, office cleaning, sauna cleaning, window washing, floor waxing, stairwell and elevator cleaning, sports hall cleaning, and salon cleaning.

Do you work with households that have pets?

Yes — Kareen shares her home with cats, and most of our regular customers have pets. Let us know about your dog or cat when you book (allergies, temperament, shedding patterns) and we’ll adjust our routine. We close doors so pets don’t escape, leave toys and beds in place, and schedule around anxious animals when needed.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes — our cleaners bring professional equipment and products. If you prefer we use your own supplies (for example allergen-free or fragrance-free products), just let us know when booking.

How often can you clean?

Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly recurring home cleaning, plus one-time deep cleans. Regular customers get the biggest benefit from kotitalousvähennys because the €150 annual threshold is cleared easily over a year.

Are you insured?

Yes. Prime Cleaning Services carries full liability insurance (vastuuvakuutus) for all cleaning work. Y-tunnus 2486114-7.

How long has Prime Cleaning been in business?

Prime Cleaning Services was founded in June 2012 in Helsinki and has operated continuously since — that’s 13+ years serving the Helsinki capital region. The company is owned and run by Eric Panhilason and Kareen Bondoc, together with a small cleaning team (seven people in total). Our Finnish business ID (Y-tunnus) is 2486114-7.
